Board — the moodboard

References, notes and real project files on one infinite canvas.

Board is one shared set of items with two readings: Canvas, an infinite pan-and-zoom surface where everything has a place and a size, and References, the same items as a tidy masonry for browsing. An eye toggle hides any item from References without removing it from the Canvas.

What goes on a board

• Images — paste, drop, or add from disk. Copies live in .plaza/assets/, so boards sync with the project.
• Project files — drag them in from the Explorer sidebar; a file card shows the real thumbnail and heals itself after renames.
• Links — paste a URL and it becomes a preview card with the page's image and title.
• Notes and colors — text cards and color chips for callouts and palettes.

Pen (P), text (T) and arrow (A) tools with a color picker, plus an eraser (E). V returns to select, G pans. Annotations live on the canvas next to the work they're about.

Getting things out again

Board items that are real files drag back out into any app, like everywhere else in Plaza. The board persists to .plaza/board.json and syncs with the project; a teammate's board edits appear live.

The Planning dashboard's Brief & Inspiration blocks are board items flagged for the home page — pin the brief once, see it in both places.
