People & sharing

Names without accounts. Attribution without a server.

Share the project folder through Dropbox or Drive and Plaza is multiplayer. There's no sign-up: you pick a name and a color once per machine, and the project keeps a small roster of everyone who's opened it. Choosing an existing roster name on a second machine means both machines are you — no duplicate people.

Assignments

The built-in Assigned to attribute is the people axis everywhere: assign files in Files mode, assign tasks in Planning, group the Kanban by assignee, filter the board to one person's plate. People render as initials chips in their chosen color.

What syncs live

A teammate's changes — tags, statuses, tasks, board edits — appear in your open window as their sync client delivers them; there's nothing to refresh. Concurrent edits merge per item, and where two machines genuinely edited the same value, the newest edit wins on both.

The activity feed

The project keeps a lightweight journal — per person, per device, in .plaza/ — feeding the Dashboard's recent-activity widgets: what appeared, what changed, who did what. Attribution is deliberately conservative: raw file events stay unattributed (a sync client delivering a teammate's render looks identical to a local save, and a wrong name is worse than none), and attribution pills only appear once the roster has two people.

Plaza never phones home about any of this. The roster, the journal and every assignment are files in your folder, visible to exactly the people the folder is shared with.
